Terrific pacing

Oooooh, now you got me worked up for the finale! Man, you really let pretty much the remainder of the plot out of the bag there, and made it work in your favour. I think it's especially devious of you to bring all of the characters together, whether or not they're rivals of one another, to join in on the final fight. I think the finale's gonna be really good, and I think it has something to do with the fact that there's gonna be a 5 against 1(I think. Who knows what tricks you have left up your sleeve?).

Well, I now sit back and forth very VERY eagerly awaiting the last episode, which can't come here fast enough. Keep it up.

i hope i dissapoint anyone with the finale..;)

Superb

First off, anyone who votes 0 on this movie just because it has sprites in it, or any other sprite movie for that matter, is completely retarded. So Dark Vincent, don't listen to those assholes, because they talk out of their asses.

Second, I've watched all 4 episodes and have a couple of things I would like to address to you.

1. Megaman and X are NOT the same robot. How could X have Megamans' memories from the earlier games if they're two completely different beings? Dr. Light created X AFTER Megaman, he didn't just put add-ons onto the original creation. That makes this story suffer a bit, because it doesn't make much sense.

2. Shure is spelled "Sure". The H is silent.

3. What happened to all the other characters?

4. How did a virus thing get into Bass and Zero's training program?

5. How did you get Slashman to have that trail effect?

Other than those inquireys, I think this is a very well designed series. It's nothing spectacular, but it is getting better and better with each passing episode. So I think it's safe to say that the next episodes are gonna rock, but until then, I can only speculate.

Keep up the good work.

Dark-Vincent responds:

First of all, Thanks for the review!!
Here we go!!
1- It's too soon to take conclusions... your answer'll come by the time...
2-Sorry, my english sux .
3-"To be continued"
4-"To be continued"
5-Its god damn easy:

1-Make a ball move fron one side to another.
2-Lets say that this animation(the ball moving) tooked 7 frames:
ex:
layer1=@------>@
(@=frame, --->= mothion tween)
3-Make another layer:
layer1=@------>@
layer2=
4-Copy the layer1 frames and paste in the layer2 like that:
layer1=@------>@
layer2=_@------>@
(_=Blank frame)
5-Now see what happen.

Poor at best

Grainy, fuzzy voices, an offputting and troubling premise, involving sonic characters getting naked(and not nearly as well drawn either), and the whole movie just goes too fast. There's no humour, no point, no reason to watch.

You need to put more effort into these flashes. And learn that disgusting antics don't neccessarily equal humour.

-Phantos

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Yeah, the naked part was pointless, but that was only a small part of the movie.And not everything is disgusting.And there is a point and humour, just not everyone has the same taste.You`re pretty severe are you?

Great

I'm glad to see you re-submitted this for the 3rd time(3rd time's the charm, right?). Especially since the first time you did it, you accidentally submitted it twice, and in one, you took all this out and replaced it with: BLAM THIS PLEASE! and you explained how you accidentally submitted it twice.

You kept the other version as it was, because it WAS this flash. But THEN, the people of NG were so stupid, that they blammed the GOOD version, and SAVED the one you wanted deleted! They thought you were talking about the good version, or perhaps NG is just really really retarded....

My vote goes to the latter choice, but nonetheless, it's nice to see the morons here didn't blam this again, considering it actually IS a good movie.

Sorry for the story children. Just wanted to clear that up for anyone who may have noticed this flash earlier....

All I would change are the crappy "easter eggs", and you should add more backgrounds that have nothing to do with Chrono Trigger, which makes it funnier(like the Sonic The Hedgehog background). Otherwise, bravo.

-Phantos

ViktimStudios responds:

Correct. Thank you for explaining that to everyone. I couldnt find the words for it.

WTF did you do!?

Man you took a good looking series and just turned it into CRAP. This flash is riddled with more problems than Richard Simmon, and is almost as irritating as well.

The story makes absolutely no sense at times, for example, when Sonic has to play a very VERY crappily programmed game to learn how to teleport.... How the hell does clicking to shoot wierd space-ships with only a millisecond of time to react have ANYTHING to do with teleporting? Not to mention the fact that that mini-game is uncomely and insipid to the point of madness.

The words go by too fast, and the sound is the worst quality I have EVER SEEN. The sound effects are WAY too loud, and the music is WAY too quiet. The only way you can hear even a glimmer of music is to turn your speakers all the way up, but then a giant sound effect will blast a hole through your eardrums doing so.

I suggest you re-do this flash again, and fix all of these giant errors, because other than the insanity described here, there COULD have been something enjoyable about this flash. But there are just too many damn problems to find entertainment in this.

lol, i actually liked that comment, told me how much ive been slackin. Well, i see u liked part 3. I got off my ass and worked hard on part 3. this is the comment that made it all happen. thx

Meh...

I find it hard to enjoy this movie when it's hard to understand what the clocks/locks are saying. But, I'm sure in time I'll get used to it once I see more of these clock flashes. And at least it proves a point; that the locks are just a bunch of posers.

-Phantos

LollypopClock responds:

Well get used to the voices htere in a large percentage of clock movies. And ur right the locks are a bunch of posers.

Damn Newgrounds users.

Why in the name of all that is holy did this make it past judgement?! The graphics stink, the concept is monstrous, and this flash is sickeningly stupid overall. Once again an unworthy flash slips throught the cracks at the hands of a bunch of retards who voted 5.

-Phantos

britto responds:

shut up you prick.

Pretty good...

Although 2 things trouble me:

1. If X stole Zero's saber in the first one, how did he magically have it again in this one?

2. How did he learn Angela's name? There was no introduction between the two.

Besides those two odd points, I must say this is very well done. Good graphics, nice choice of music, interesting and detailed chorography in the sprite work, and even a good amount of interactivity when choosing which path Zero goes to next.

Although the writing is only decent, it could've been a LOT worse. Keep up the good work Lio. :)

-Phantos

Liorana responds:

don't worry... I noticed those 2 point, And first...at the end Zero says that the saber he carries is not as powerful as his old one..... are you sure you read the whole thing?....

And second... we don't see all what happens in the night and the walk in the desert. They surely find the time to tell their names...

Nice work

Although I think you should try to make the jokes even MORE funny(try watching shows like Family Guy or The Simpsons for inspiration), otherwise, I think this is very well done. But what was the name of the site you got those sprites from? The url went by too fast in the movie.

Nice job man. I eagerly anticipate the next edition in this(hopefully) series. :)

-Phantos

CheveLoco responds:

well i just want it to be a serious flash with a lil bit of comedy you know?..i dont want it to be a pure comedy..

Phanto's 100th Review!

For my centenial review, I decided to watch this absolutely stunning piece of flash. And I'm certainly glad I decided to see it when I did. The graphics are mind-blowing, from start to finish, and the action is unique and exciting. Although the main character's range of movements could have been more fluid, they are still put to good use. The music is a little strange tho, but I was too busy admiring this awesome movie to care. A mind-boggling effort and creativity was put into this, and for that, it gets my approval.

Encore! Encore! :)

thanks for your comments and congrats to your 100th review!
