Any movie with hog-ridin' cats is okay in my book!

First off, read the summary above for my overall thoughts on this flash.

Second, I think a lot of effort went into making the cartoony graphics of this music video, even if they aren't insanely detailed.

3. Like Les Noir Soldat says, "the Mick Jagger lips on a kitty that looks like it's after my soul just scared me." That just didn't seem to fit well with the angry old guy rocker vocals and the kitty-cat biker theme. But, you came through with your promise of lip-synching, and you did it well.

4. That song simply kicks ass. Period. Thanks for usin' the MP3 of it. :)

Good job yo.

Damn... My idea is no longer original...

Well it look like you beat me to making a flash series about pathetic friends who make fun of pop-culture, video games, trying desperately to get women only to fail by their own cluelessness, humurous flashback sequences similar to that of Family Guy, and the constant fending off of stupid people.

Well, I must give credit where credit is due. You made a funny flash movie, that was not only brilliantly animated, but had very professional voice acting as well. Although the side-character who follows Waterman needs to sound less.... bored. I dunno, he needs that something to make his character stand out.

And why did he act gay at that point? Was there any reason for that? It was pointless. And so were Kyle and Stan showing up to announce Roy-Bot's death... No need for that, and lacked humuor.

It was still a lot funnier than half the stuff that's shown here. But as a writer myself(for comedy, drama, or whatever the hell will get me some cash to buy some trinket or bobble), I know talent when I see it. You've. Got. It.

I think it's safe to say this is gonna be a very beloved series on Newgrounds in no time...

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to come up with a new idea for a flash series....

I've got it! Animals with potty-mouths that get into disgusting situations! And- Oh... wait a minute...

-Phantos

Whoa...

Terrific animation, a brilliant style and concept, fitting music, and an altogether kick-ass flash.

True talent can be found here.

Ignore the lesser minded, such as Skull Basher....

...It's peons like him that have kept Newgrounds as a haven for the mindless drooling ignorami for lo these many years.

I on the other hand, have a brain, and use it. Which is why I'm ecstatic to see someone present a THOUGHT to The Portal for once. The graphics were animated with detail, and effor, and it clearly shows in the movements of Da Diniticinusuin.... Di danaictiun...

...

However the hell you pronounce your name...

Anyways, I love a good philosophical debate. But if you ask me, your views on friendship and love are WAAAY too biased to present a logical argument.

Just because friends may have stabbed YOU in the back, doesn't mean that EVERYONE stabs EVERYONE ELSE in THEIR backs. That's absurd. And you denounce Love to be the reason for existence, because Life is one crushing hellish ordeal after another.

Everyone knows life sucks. Don't blame love for it. Love is one of the only reasons life is even worth living. Sure, Hope, Friendship, Religion and other points keep others going, but you can't just shun love because life is less than satisfactory. True Love is the closest feeling you can get in mortal life, of being in Heaven, or Nirvana, or whatever. At least that's what I believe.

I believe the Meaning Of Life is to make your OWN meaning to live. And Love is enough reason for me. :D

Da-Dinictus responds:

Nononononononononono! NO!
For the umpteenth time, I -myself- did not denounce the very good things in life that make us much more happier as anything bad! Hell no! I have friends, I believe in Hope - so why then still attack those supportive matters? Because that is the view of -others-! I share, with you all, the views of others, so you can perhaps contemplate on them if you did not already, and share your ideas. Most absolutely not do I denounce friendship and love, nor religion. But there's enough people who do, and you should consider their views too, even if you are against them.
It's good to see people who also see friendship like this, but damn, are you a vigorous defender! ...I like that ^_^ Caring sort, aren't you?
A good review, indeed, and thank you for enjoying "R".

Alright! A spin-off!

If I had known this was made by Newground's newest Sprite Movie Legend, OR that this is a spin-off of Megaman X The Final Battle, I would have seen this much sooner!

*hits self in head*

Well, now that I've seen this movie, I can confirm that your really, REALLY complexly animated flashes have spoiled me. It may not look like I'm giving this a high score, but remember that I'm not the kind of person who only votes 10 or 0. I make use of the rating system.

Anywho, the sprite graphics seemed a tad more pixely this time, but once again you've assembled a very well designed fight sequence with 2 classic robot masters. Although they're the older, less interesting kind, you still made use with the materials you have.

3 small gripes tho.

1. The words go by a bit too fast.

2. The sound effect for Rush barking seems a bit too loud for a dog of his size.

and 3. I think it doesn't matter how big a movie it is, but if you don't put in as much effort into a movie just to make it a smaller size, it loses a lot of what makes it so great in the first place. An epic scope.

Eh, it barely detracts from an enjoyable little piece in the puzzle of this interesting spin-off.

CheveLoco responds:

heheh sprite movie legend?..i'm flattered.. thank you very much even though i don't think i have achieved that title yet...:P
1- i'll check the text pace next time.
2-that's the only i could find at that moment..hehe
3-is not that i dont put a lot of effort i just try to make it as good as good as possible with a low file size(by now i think that doesnt matter to a lot of people so i might have to change that "policy" hehe

Serves them right

It's one thing to not like a movie. It's one thing to have an opinion. It's one thing to not have any positive feelings about life, or anyone else for that matter.

But to call someone a homo, cunt, asshole, and pray to God in Heaven, that that person actually DIE, for posting on NG something with even the slightest bit of heart, something I'm sure he must have been afraid to post because he's well aware that's not the usual kind of thing NG Users would watch, and to act like an intelectually-challenged cocksucking homophobic satanic fascist piss-ass heartless idiotic and most certainly horrible mistake of humanity, then they deserve this.

I am very proud that you took the time, and the oppuritunity to express your feelings, regardless of what anyone else says, about how insulted you and all of us are at those 2 miscreants. They really do not deserve life, and it's about time someone stood up and said it.

You are a logical person, and only the most logical people get a 5 from me. Since you have stood up for a cruel injustice, all my 5 are belong to you.

Moment Of Silence, Followed By Round Of Applause

.........I am simply astonished at this flash. You wanna know why? Because I have heard NOTHING, but clock bashing the last few weeks. It's hard enough on you guys what with the site being hacked, and all the rumours that the clocks are gone. All the hateful reviews which claim a clock movie is bad simply because it was by a Clock. It's absurd.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times someone has said that they think all clock movies suck. I've told them to watch The Void, but they just avoid. The Clocks have asked them to forgive, but all they do is forget.

But if anyone else says that "All clock movies sux!!!!11", then they have NEVER seen this!

This is utterly beautiful. A poetic and very touching tribute to your friend, may he rest in peace. But here's what surprises me the most: Newgrounds is filled with immature assholes, idiotic pissants, and just damn crazy people. I've seen some of the most childish, innapropriate, and unnaceptable behaviour here.

And to see them praising this movie instead of shunning it for it's Clock-Appeal, is amazing. You've touched people, who keep filth like the Dress-Up Games in their own collection, instead of the wastelands. These are the same people who regard Retarded Animal Babies as "teh gretast flash ever!!!11!1!1111!2". And the very notion that they've accepted this flash, and the fact that it's touched them, proves once and for all that you have the power to reach people on an emotional level, even if you don't want to.

You didn't mean for this to be a terrific flash. Just a tribute to your friend. But if you ask me, you've accomplished both. Even Tom Fulp, yer typical party-hearty wild teenage punk kid, put this on the Front Page, because it deserves to be.

You should be very proud of yourself. You've accomplished a lot more than you think.

-Phantos

Not another 8-Bit Theatre Rip-Off...

Look, kid, I know it's your first try, but think of something original instead of just copying someone elses outstanding comic with hackneyed writing. And you really need to put music and sound in there.

As it stands, this isn't worth watching. I'm sure you'll learn to do better if you just come up with some ideas that are your own.

-Phantos

CrowbarProductions responds:

If you all who think i ripped it of... so listen to me... i tryed to get answer from the nuklearpower can i use the characters from their T-shirts but no answer... so i forgot the credits. In ep2 there is credit but i will not make more episodes so there are you now happy?...

Okay for a first try in this field...

Although that ended WAY too quickly, and the music seemed to be a little to... well, the style doesn't really fit the mood the flash tries to convey. But the graphics were very well done, I must say that.

Just keep honing your skills, and try to make a longer project next time, and I'm sure NG will love it.

-Phantos

DickLeckt responds:

Thanks, this is the first time I'm trying something like this, so this was, in every way, experimental. I hope to do some movies with Bullet Head Spike in the future (good writer and musician).

Very artistic for a Clock Movie

Although I could have done without the clock voice overs telling us to obey them, or the multicolour flashing thing at the end, I think this is an artistic, and maybe even poetic flash.

I know a lot of people diss clocks and wish they'd go away, but they haven't brought only misery to NG. Not all of their flashes suck. Look at The Void for example.

I hope The Clocks aren't really dead, because, like it or not, they're a mainstay here at NG. They're classics, regardless of the quality of their films. It's like tradition, and it's here to stay, no matter what some idiot says in all capitals begging for them to die.

At least that's what I think... Sorry if I got a little overdramatic there...

-Phantos

LeekClock responds:

Thanks for that review, nice to see someone appreciated this who wasn't a clock :)
