Damn Newgrounds users.

Why in the name of all that is holy did this make it past judgement?! The graphics stink, the concept is monstrous, and this flash is sickeningly stupid overall. Once again an unworthy flash slips throught the cracks at the hands of a bunch of retards who voted 5.

Dammit layzkid2222!

Stop postin' links to shitty-ass sites!

OH, right, the movie. *AHEM* Well, I must say, this was a very cleverly written piece of flash. It had humour in all the right places, and very unique and interesting secrets, and the graphics were(although pixely to the point of nauseum) very eye-grabbing.

The only problem I can think of is that the words went by just a BIT too slowly. Half the movie is waiting for the next bit of speech.

Nonetheless, this is a unique departure from all the Megaman and Mario spoofs(not that they aren't great as well). Keep up the good work!

Congratulations on your 10th flash!

Now, although I didn't find it AS funny as your previous work, I still think it deserves a high spot in the Top 50. I noticed the animations for the characters are moving more fluidly and faster than before, a sure sign that these movies are gonna get better and better in the graphics department. The voice-acting was superb as ever, and the premise alone is enough to keep me watchin' for hours on end.

Yet another triumph from Legendary Frog!

FINALLY!

Someone actually used their brain while making a flash movie under 100k! That's a Newgrounds landmark right there! It's so refreshing to see something worthwhile at such a small size. The graphics, although nothing mindblowing, still move at a fast, clean pace, and are very eyecatching to say in the least. Especially with such cute characters too.

Although the premise wasn't meant to be anything too complex, I still liked it. And we are forever thankful that you added a game in the preloader. Now everyone can stop their bitchin' about it taking too damn long to load.

It's about dang time someone made a movie like this, and I hope this gives a message to all those idiots who make those damn 5k movies that are just flying pictures of some guy's ass!

Good job Gelatin Guy. Good job. :)

Pretty good...

Although 2 things trouble me:

1. If X stole Zero's saber in the first one, how did he magically have it again in this one?

2. How did he learn Angela's name? There was no introduction between the two.

Besides those two odd points, I must say this is very well done. Good graphics, nice choice of music, interesting and detailed chorography in the sprite work, and even a good amount of interactivity when choosing which path Zero goes to next.

Although the writing is only decent, it could've been a LOT worse. Keep up the good work Lio. :)

Liorana responds:

don't worry... I noticed those 2 point, And first...at the end Zero says that the saber he carries is not as powerful as his old one..... are you sure you read the whole thing?....

And second... we don't see all what happens in the night and the walk in the desert. They surely find the time to tell their names...

Not bad...

Not as good as the other ones, but still decent. But why was Luigi "The One" in this one, but Toad was "The One" in the first?

Nice work

Although I think you should try to make the jokes even MORE funny(try watching shows like Family Guy or The Simpsons for inspiration), otherwise, I think this is very well done. But what was the name of the site you got those sprites from? The url went by too fast in the movie.

Nice job man. I eagerly anticipate the next edition in this(hopefully) series. :)

CheveLoco responds:

well i just want it to be a serious flash with a lil bit of comedy you know?..i dont want it to be a pure comedy..

Boooring

It should be noted that you put THOUGHT BUBBLES for all the character's speech, so it looked like they all had telekinetic powers and spoke slang to each other through their mind powers. Also, there are far too many Sonic vs. Mario movies. And this movie took far too long to get to the point. Nothin' to see here that we haven't seen a thousand times before.

-Phantos

Hmm...

Good for a quick laugh, but not much else...

Ingenious

I now see why this is on the front page. The graphics, although not jaw-dropping, are still very well choreographed. The music is interesting, and I like the premise of how the sticks try to escape the screen closing in from the left. It adds a sense of being trapped, and I liked how there were points when they would help each other out to survive, but in the end they knew only 1 would make it. And let's not forget the remarkably clever ending, which just puts the irony into perspective.

This is an ingenious flash to say in the least, and more than worth my approval.
