For a movie made by a 14 year old, that.... was crap. Man, whatever beef you have with Avril Lavine is one thing, but come on, she doesn't look like some sort of gothic hunchback of Notre Dame. She's not even a GOTH. Do you even know who you're trying in vain to make fun of? I suggest you get the ROMs to these games, so that you don't have to settle with the fugly backgrounds and jpg sprites. And maybe you could work on the writing a little more. I'm sure that with some more effort, and some better sprites, then this could be acceptable. But until then, it's nothin' new.... Sorry dood.

Where's the "Big Trouble" you promised?
I'm sorry man, but this didn't provide any entertainment for me this time either. The title says "Little Cat, Big Trouble", but in actuality, any and all "trouble" is roughly the same size as him, and almost does nothing to imply that it is of any serious threat.(said it like that so I don't spoil it too much for people who like this).
The voice acting is unbalanced as well. Some characters(like the new villain) have a REALLY cool sounding voice, but like the main character himself, it is still of a low, boring tone, and neither of the characters ever say anything... well, interesting.
The graphics remain as some of the best NG has, but they need to be put to better use, since not much really happens in this episode anyway.
I'm not blamming this. I can admit that it isn't crap. But it never gets anywhere above average. Sorry man. At least you tried. And I'll be sure to watch any future editions of Captain Cat to see if any of the sorely needed improvements are made. Until then, I wish you good luck in your future projects.

Hey, if you didn't like it, thats no problem, as for captains voice, hes intentionally dull at the moment, because of the fact he doesnt know who he is and why hes there, he WILL perk up, but thats later...as for the big trouble, i would say that there was definatley enough trouble for him here, i mean, hes just met the new villain and as you can see at the end, he not exactly fighting a winning battle...as for intresting conversation, it WILL come, you must remember, i have to build up the characters first... and as you said that you're going to watch future episodes, im sure you'll enjoy it more as it unfolds...so thanks for the review, i like any sort of constructive critisism...but as for SORELY needed improvements...Some people ARE enjoying these first two episodes, despite the fact they are basically paving the way for the ACTUAL story... so, i guess you just cant please 'em all ;)

I'm pretty sure it's a glitch
There's no way NG would be stupid enough to rate this as the #1 movie of all time, and since the score is actually LOWER than anything else in NG history, I think maybe the system accidentally misread the score and thought it was the HIGHEST rated in NG history.
Tom or Wade really need to step in. This is making a mockery of Newgrounds having this scat at #1.

You gotta add more than just music
It was blammed for a reason. All you did was just add music to it. That's good, we appreciate that, but that's putting a band-aid on a broken arm.
You need to add more choreography, more of the fight sequences, and a PRE-LOADER. Maybe some text in between bouts. This isn't something you can solve in 5 minutes. You need to take the time to make this a better flash.
Maybe then it will be saved.
